The Minister of Industry, Yahia Bechiri, inspected the activity of the unit "SARL FB RADIATEUR", specialized in the manufacture of engine radiators and automotive spare parts in Aïn M'lila, in the wilaya of Oum El Bouaghi.
In this regard, the Minister emphasized, during his visit to the third stop, the strategic importance of the spare parts industry in supporting and developing the national mechanical industry, as a fundamental pillar for structuring production chains, strengthening industrial subcontracting, and increasing local integration rates, in addition to its role in reducing the import bill and strengthening industrial sovereignty.
The Minister of Industry also called for expanding the scope of the company's commercial dealings to include other equipment such as agricultural machinery and trucks, while stressing the need to invest in quality assurance through the acquisition of testing and pressure testing equipment, as an essential mechanism for ensuring product compliance and increasing their competitiveness, thus allowing for the diversification of production and strengthening presence in the national market.
The speaker stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with the public sector in this field, due to the opportunities it provides to increase the volume of national demand and support local production, in parallel with the call to work on reducing imports of plastic materials through the development of local production and strengthening national manufacturing capabilities in this field.
Bechiri emphasized the need to continue developing this vital industrial branch, in line with the national orientation aimed at strengthening the industrial base and reducing dependence on imports.
This unit contributes to meeting part of the national demand for this type of product, reflecting its role in supporting the local market and strengthening industrial activity in this field.
During this stop, the Minister received explanations on the development process of the company's activity and its future prospects, particularly regarding the improvement of production capacities, the increase of local integration rates, and the strengthening of integration in supply chains related to the spare parts industry, which supports the company's competitiveness within the national market.
As part of his field visit to the wilaya of Oum El Bouaghi, the Minister of Industry inspected the unit "SARL FABCOM NEW TECH BATTERIES PLUS" located in the industrial zone of Aïn M'lila, which represents a qualitative expansion of the parent company "FABCOM".
This unit specializes in the production of vehicle batteries of all types.
He also oversaw, during the second stop of his visit, the inauguration and inspection of the unit "SARL AMC FILTRE" located in the municipality of Aïn M'lila, specialized in the manufacture of filters for cars and trucks of all types.
